Erin Walker and Sophie Merchant facilitate the Adelaide sessions collaboratively. They are both . . . experienced Mothers, Doulas and Childbirth Educators. Far too often men and support people are disregarded, ill-prepared or feel out of their depth in the birth space. Through their personal and professional experience, Sophie and Erin know just how much of a positive impact Dads and support people can have on the collective birth experience, given adequate preparation. Lyndelle brings more than 15 years of experience in supporting families in the Geelong, Surfcoast, . . . Bellarine and Colac regions. Lyndelle is a mother of 5 and has attended over 100 births as a Doula with Geelong and Surf Coast Doulas which she manages a team of Doulas and also provides training to the next wave of Doulas.

Maya Wilkinson
Maya is a midwife and mum. She’s got over a decade of birth experience. She’s also got a Public . . . Health Masters. Her current interest is parenting, being in the thick of it herself with two toddlers!   Maya runs Beer+Bubs Birth sessions once a month. This is a long-running program in Hobart, and is a full night of labour information, tips and honest exchange. Over a pub meal of course. She has a Return Dad come back to share his story, which is different each time, but always great.   Maya now has Beer+Bubs Dads sessions going too. This is a slightly different format- Saturday lunch and babies are welcome.    Upcoming: Thursday 21st November (Birth); Saturday 23rd November (Dads); Thursday 16th January (Birth).   *B+B Hobart welcomes non-binary and female partners, but note that the usual demographic is heterosexual men.
