Ron is an ex-bricklayer with twenty plus years experience as a midwife. He has been catching babies at Royal Hobart Hospital since 1995 and previously worked at King Edward (Perth) and Royal Women’s (Melbourne). He was the first bloke to join (in 2012) the Beer + Bubs team but in his own words, he’s used to being the odd one out! (Male midwives represent approximately 1% of the midwifery workforce.)
